BiteDraft is the one that’s personal. I’ve been writing humor for years as a writer and content creator — and I wanted to build a communication tool with some of that in it. Craig and I built it together. BiteDraft takes what you’ve already written and gives you tone and personality options to help you say it.

How BiteDraft Actually Started (It Was Just a Conversation With Craig)
You know the joke. You get into it with someone, the argument ends, everyone goes home, and then a week later, in the shower, completely unprompted, the perfect comeback shows up. Fully formed. Devastating. A week too late, delivered to an audience of shampoo bottles. Everyone laughs about this because everyone's lived it.

Here's the less funny version of that same joke: it's not just arguments. It's the fifty comments you get on one post, all saying basically the same thing, where you're expected to respond to all of them without repeating yourself and without it feeling like a form letter. It's the group text you stare at. It's the email you've opened four times and closed four times. The volume of moments where you're supposed to say something, right now, is a lot higher than most people account for, especially if you have any kind of following or any kind of inbox at all.

And under all of that is the part that's actually personal: some people can just react. The words are right there, instantly, no problem. For other people, especially if you deal with anxiety the way Craig and I both do, the good response absolutely exists, it's just not always available on demand. It shows up an hour later. A day later. In the shower.

We were talking about all of this one day, and Craig's the one who said it: why don't we just build something for that gap? Not to replace anyone's voice, just to close the distance between "I'll think of something eventually" and "I need something now," and to make sure that whatever it makes actually sounds like something you'd say, funny when it should be funny, real when it should be real.

That conversation is the whole reason BiteDraft exists. If you've ever had the perfect reply show up a week too late, or you've got fifty comments to answer and one good line, this is exactly why we built it.
